Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has announced the Class 10 examination schedule for 2026. The matriculation exams have been scheduled from February 17 to 25, 2026 in two different shifts each day to accommodate the large number of students participating from the entire state. BSEB conducts these annual board exams in an offline, pen-and-paper mode. The papers are designed to have both objective and subjective parts so as to be a balanced evaluation. Accommodations for Visually Impaired Students

In​‍​‌‍​‍‌ order to facilitate the examination of BSEB Class 10 2026, special provisions have been made for visually challenged candidates, who are allowed to be exempted from the compulsory subjects of Mathematics and Science and take the Music exam on February 21, 2026 and Home Science on February 18, 2026, respectively. The performance in these substitutes will count as 100% of the final scores. Thus, the board emphasises its pledge of making the examination accessible to everyone. Theory papers have 100 marks, with 80 marks allotted for external exams.
