Andhra University, Visakhapatnam on behalf of Andhra Pradesh government has officially announced notification for Andhra Pradesh State Eligibility Test for the recruitment and promotion of Assistant Professors and lecturers in universities and degree colleges across Andhra Pradesh on 31st December 2025 for the year 2025. The APSET test will be conducted on 28th March and 29th March 2026 via Online Mode. 

The date for submission of online applications will start from 9th January 2026. Eligible candidates who are willing to apply for APSET 2025 can apply online on the official website. https://apset.net.in/

APSET 2025: Eligibility Criteria 

Candidates applying for APSET 2025 must have a master’s degree or equivalent qualification from a UGC recognized university. There’s no particular age limit mentioned in the official notification. Anyone can apply for it.

APSET 2025: Syllabus 

The APSET 2025 will consist of Paper 1 and Paper 2. The syllabus for Paper 1 will consist of the following topics like: Teaching Aptitude, Research Methodology, Reading Comprehension, Communication, and Logical Reasoning while the syllabus for Paper 2 will focus on the subjects chosen by the candidate. Paper 1 will be common to candidates of all SET Subjects while Paper 2 will be conducted for a total 30 subjects. The exam will be conducted in two languages, English and Telugu.
