The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the results of two of its most-awaited recruitment examinations, that is, the EPFO Exam (Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation) 2025 and CMS Exam (Combined Medical Services) 2025. These exams are held to fill top administrative and medical posts under the Central Government. With the announcement of the results, thousands of aspirants may now get an idea regarding the status of their selection and the next stage of the process. Candidates can now check the result of UPSC ESE 2025 (Mechanical Engineering) from the official website. The update of these results is significant because the EPFO candidates are one step away from the interview stage, and the CMS candidates confirm their final selection for prestigious medical posts.
UPSC EPFO Result 2025: Provisional Merit List Released
The result of the UPSC EPFO 2025 was announced on 22 December 2025. The result has been released in the form of a PDF, which contains the roll numbers of the candidates who are shortlisted for the Interview/Personality Test. Candidates must know that this is a provisional merit list. Also, they have to make sure to put in their best shot for the final selection, as being shortlisted does not mean selection. The appointment will be on the basis of a written examination and an interview taken together.
What to Do After EPFO Result?
Candidates who have qualified in the written examination must appear for the Interview/Personality Test, which contains 25% of the total marks of the final merit list. Shortlisted applicants are now required to complete the Detailed Application Form (DAF) through the UPSC ORA portal within the stipulated timeline. Failure to submit the DAF in time will result in disqualification.
UPSC CMS Final Result 2025 Announced
UPSC has released the result of the CMS examination 2025 along with the EPFO result. The CMS written examination was held on 20 July 2025 and the Personality Test was held between October and December 2025. The final result PDF contains the names of the candidates who are recommended for appointment to various medical posts of the Central Government and its instrumentalities.
UPSC CMS Selection Details
For Category I posts, a total of 449 candidates have been recommended. These candidates will be appointed as:
Assistant Divisional Medical Officer in Railways
General Duty Medical Officer in NDMC
General Duty Medical Officer Grade II in MCD
For Category II posts, 363 candidates have been recommended, mainly for Medical Officer Grade positions under the Central Health Service.
