The Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU) Hyderabad has announced the Telangana Postgraduate Engineering Common Entrance Test (TG PGECET 2026) dates, which will begin on the 28th of May 2026 and the last date of the exam is the 31st of May 2026. The registration for the TS PGECET entrance exam will start on 27th February 2026 and interested candidates who want to take admission in the M.tech programme can register themselves on the official website till the last date of 6th May 2026. The application fee for the TS PGECET 2026 is INR 1,100 for the General Category, and candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), and Persons with Disabilities (PwD) have to pay INR 600. TS PGECET 2026 Exam Pattern
The Telangana Postgraduate Engineering Common Entrance Test (TG PGECET 2026) will be conducted in online mode only, which is a Computer-Based Test (CBT). The examination will be conducted in two sessions, i.e., a morning session from 10.00 AM to 12.00 Noon and an afternoon session from 2 PM to 4.00 PM, as per the timetable given in Test Schedule. The duration of this exam is of 2 hours with the 120 multiple-choice objective type
questions, carrying one mark for each question. No negative marks will be given for wrong answers. The qualifying percentage of marks for TG PGECET-2026 is 25% of the maximum marks (i.e., 30 marks). However, for candidates belonging to SC / ST there is no minimum qualification prescribed and rank will be released on the basis of marks obtained.
