The National Testing Agency (NTA) has reopened the registration process for CUET-UG 2026, giving students another opportunity to complete their applications after receiving several requests for an extension.
Earlier, the application window was open from January 3 to January 30, 2026, and candidates could pay the application fee until January 31 (11:50 PM). The deadline was later extended to February 4, with fee payment allowed till February 7. Despite these extensions, many students asked for more time.
In response, NTA has reopened the CUET-UG 2026 application window and fee payment window. All the interested candidates can now submit their application forms from February 23 (afternoon) to February 26, 2026, and the last date to pay the application fee is also February 26, 2026, by 11:50 PM. This is the final chance to apply, so students should complete the process before the deadline.
The CUET-UG 2026 examination will be conducted in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode from May 11 to May 31, 2026, tentatively. The exam will be held at centres across India and in some selected cities outside the country.
Steps to Apply for CUET-UG 2026

Step 3: Enter your personal details in the registration panel and your login credentials will be generated.

Step 5: Only clear, recent photos and signature should be uploaded as per the instructions.
Step 6: Make the application fee payment through any of the online payment modes.
Step 7: Submit the form and save the confirmation page for future use.
CUET UG 2026: Correction Window Details
The National Testing Agency has made it clear that this is a special extended opportunity for candidates to complete their CUET-UG 2026 application. After this, no correction window will be provided.
Students are advised to fill in all details very carefully while completing the form. Before final submission, applicants should properly check their personal information, selected subjects, uploaded photograph and signature, and payment status.

CUET-UG 2026: Will the Deadline Be Extended Again?
As of the current information, the NTA has not announced more extension in the deadline for the CUET-UG 2026 application. The previous short extension was given to help candidates, but it is uncertain if the deadline will be extended again.
