TNPSC Group 2 Answer Key 2025 Out: Check Now and Raise Obligation Before the Deadline

The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) brought out the tentative answer keys on October 7 for the General Tamil/General English and General Knowledge papers of the Combined Civil Services Examination–II (Group II and IIA). Candidates can access the answer key of TNPSC from the official website. The TNPSC Group 2 preliminary exam was conducted on September 28, 2025.
In the event of errors in the answer keys or if candidates have objections, they may submit their challenges through the “Answer Key Challenge” link, which is available on the website for claim submission. The last date for filing objections is October 14, 2025, till 5:45 pm. The TNPSC stated that it will only consider the challenges submitted through the online portal. No objections in the form of a post or email shall be considered. Candidates need to read the provided instructions carefully on the Commission’s website before submitting their challenges.
How to Check the TNPSC Combined Civil Services Exam Answer Key
To Access and download the answer key for TNPSC Combined Civil Services, candidates need to visit the official website and then follow the instructions on the homepage. To help the candidates out, here are the steps on how to download the key:
Step 1: Visit the official TNPSC website - tnpsc.gov.in
Step 2: On the homepage, locate the “Recruitment” tab and click on it. You will see a drop-down menu.
Step 3: Select “Question Papers” and then click on “Objective Type (Answer Keys)”.
Step 4: Locate “Combined Civil Services Exam – Group 1” from the options and click on it.
Step 5: Connect to the General Studies paper.
Step 6: Input your credentials, like registration number, application number, date of birth, and select the question paper.
Step 7: To check the answer key and download it for later use, click Submit.
In the TNPSC Group 2 Preliminary Exam, no negative marking is implemented. This means that candidates won't lose marks because of incorrect answers. Each accurate response will be rewarded with 1.5 marks.
On receiving the proper objections from the candidates, TNPSC will issue the final answer key. With any modifications made during the checking process, this updated answer key will be the main source of the official results.
Moreover, TNPSC had indicated that the prelim exam is only a qualifying stage. The scores obtained at this stage will not be taken into account for the overall merit list. According to the Commission's announcement, the outcome of the Group 2 and 2A exams will probably be released in December 2025.
