RRB ALP 2026 Exam Date Announced: CBT 1 Exams to be Conducted Between Feb 16 and Feb 18

The Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) have announced that the RRB Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP) 2025 will take place from February 16 to February 18. The examination mode for this RRB Assistant Loco Pilot is computer-based. The recruitment process seeks to fill 9,970 ALP positions across different railway zones of the country. According to the official announcement, the exam city intimation slip and travel authority for SC / ST candidates will become available 10 days before the candidate’s specific exam date on the relevant RRB websites.

RRB ALP Recruitment 2026: Exam City and Admit Card Availability

Providing further details on the schedule, the RRB in its notice explained, “The link for viewing the Exam City & Date and downloading of Travel Authority for SC/ST candidates will be made live 10 days before the final exam date of the candidate for respective CENs on the official websites of all RRBs. The downloading of e-call letters will start about four days before the exam date mentioned in the Exam City and Date intimation link.”

Key Instructions For Exam Day

  • Candidates must bring the original Photo Identity Document listed in their application. Failing to carry it will lead to refusal of entry into the exam hall.

  • Candidates who verified their Aadhaar at the time of application submission should ensure their Aadhaar remains unlocked in the UIDAI system for easy verification at the exam centre.

  • Candidates should check only the official RRB websites for all updates and steer clear of unverified sources.

  • Remain cautious of touts promising fake job offers; RRB recruitment remains entirely merit-driven via CBT.

Also, RRB has made clear that selection depends exclusively on exam performance, with no role for offline processes or monetary exchanges in the recruitment procedure.
