RBI Lateral Recruitment 2025 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates looking for RBI Lateral Recruitment 2025 should be qualified and experienced as per the requirements of the posts.
Data Scientist (DIT)
The applicant must have a Master's degree in one of the following subjects: Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Data Science, Finance, or Econometrics. A candidate having a B.E./B.Tech degree in Computer Science may also be considered for the position. Besides, a minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience in a financial institution is required.
Data Engineer
The candidate must hold a degree in B.E./B.Sc./M.Sc./M.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics and Communication, or MCA, or an equivalent qualification. At least four years of experience in the related field are required.
Meanwhile, for the positions of IT Security Expert, Cyber Security Analyst, Network Administrator, Project Manager, Risk Analyst, and Credit Risk Specialist, aspirants can refer to the official RBI notification for complete information about the educational qualifications and experience needed.
RBI Lateral Recruitment 2025: Age Limit, Fee and Selection Process
Age Limit: Applicants' age must be between 25 and 40 years. Candidates from the reserved categories will be given age relaxation as per government rules.
Selection Process: There will be no written exam for this recruitment. Based on the initial screening/shortlisting, candidates will be called for document verification and an interview. The final selection will be made from the interview. Selected candidates will be hired on a full-time contract basis.

General / OBC / EWS candidates: 600 + GST
SC / ST / PwBD candidates: 100 + GST

Step 1: Candidates need to visit the official RBI website at rbi.org.in.

Step 3: Click on the notification named 'RBI Lateral Recruitment 2025 Experts' and then click on the Apply Online option.
Step 4: If Candidates are new users, they need to register first to get a registration number and password.
