Amid the paper leak allegations, the National Testing Agency (NTA) will refund the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET UG) registration fees. Candidates who have appeared for the NEET UG entrance exam on 3rd May 2026 can get a refund of the registration fee till the last date by submitting their bank details through the NEET Refund Portal. Candidates are advised to complete the refund process on time, as no additional opportunity is expected after the portal closes.
Apart from this, candidates will get the refund of their registration fees within the working 7 days, and candidates who have submitted their bank details on time will get the refund of their registration fees. How to Submit the Bank Details on the NEET Refund Portal?
Candidates who have registered for the NEET UG entrance exam can claim their refund of registration fee from the NEET Refund Portal. Applicants are also advised to follow the steps given below to avoid any kind of mistake.
Step 2: Click on the “Fee Refund Window for NEET UG 2026” link under the “Candidate Activity” section.
Step 3: Complete the login process using the login application number, password, and captcha code.
Step 4: Now check the“Bank Details” section.
Step 5: At last, enter all therequired details, like the account holder’s name, bank account number, IFSC code, and bank name.

Eligible Candidates for NEET 2026 Registration Fees Refund

But the refund facility is provided to only those candidates who have successfully completed the original NEET UG 2026 registration and paid the application fee successfully.
Apart from this, candidates who have submitted their bank details on the NEET Refund Portal can get the refunded amount within the 7 working days after the last date for submitting bank details. Since banks usually take a few days to process refunds, the amount is likely to be credited by June 3, 2026.
