The National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) is expected to release the NIOS Date Sheet 2026 for the April session exams for Class 10 and Class 12 soon. Once announced, students will be able to check and download the official timetable from the NIOS official website, nios.ac.in. The theory examinations for the April 2026 session are scheduled to take place in April–May 2026, while practical examinations for the sme batch will begin earlier in March.
According to the latest updates, the practical examination for Class 10 and Class 12 will begin from March 17 to April 1, 2026.
Steps to Download NIOS Date Sheet 2026
Once the timetable is released for the theory examinations, the registered batch of students is advised to download the hall ticket by following the steps below to download the NIOS date sheet:
Visit the official website nios.ac.in.
Look for the notification link for “Date Sheet for Secondary (Class X) / Sr. Secondary (Class XII) Examinations – April 2026.”
Select the theory examination date sheet section.
Select the option to open the PDF file.
Download and save the document for future reference.
For further usage, students are also advised to take a printout of the hall ticket.
What to Check in the Admit Card
After downloading the PDF of the admit card, the students should once check the below-mentioned details in their respective admit cards beforehand to avoid any sort of further glitches.
The students should check their proper names.
The admit card should carry the centre details along with the reporting time.
The admit card should contain the name of the subject and their respective codes.
Examination dates should also be once cross-checked.
