The National Hydroelectric Power Corporation Ltd. (NHPC) has recently announced that the recruitment for several non-executive posts is set to begin on September 2, 2025. The NHPC has announced vacancies for posts such as Junior Engineer (Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, E&C), Supervisor, Senior Accountant, and Hindi Translator. Interested candidates must check their eligibility and apply for the jobs via the official website of NHPC at https://www.nhpcindia.com/welcome/job.
As mentioned in the official notification, the compensation package for the candidates will involve basic pay, DA, HRA, the NHPC Employees’ Family Economic Rehabilitation Scheme, cafeteria allowance, medical facility, and social security benefits like PF, gratuity, and pension. The recruited candidates will be placed at power stations, NHPC’s subsidiary companies and joint ventures, and projects throughout the country and even abroad.
NHPC Vacancies Application Fees & Selection Process
The application charges for candidates belonging to the Gen/EWS/OBC category are INR 600 plus taxes, summing up to INR 708 per application. Candidates must note that the application fee is non-refundable, and other charges like the GST are to be paid by them only. For the candidates belonging to categories like SC/ST/Ex-servicemen/female candidates/PwBD, there is no application fee. However, candidates must get their valid category certificate verified in order to confirm their eligibility.
To qualify for the recruitment process by NHPC, the candidates must have:
Obtained at least 40% of total marks in CBT and Written Test (Gen./OBC/Gen-EWS)
Obtained at least 35% (SC/ST/PwBD)
The online test results will facilitate the merit list, and the selected candidates will be further called to the Corporate Office in Faridabad for document verification. Once the documents are verified, the shortlisted candidates will be provided with the provisional ‘Offer of Appointment’.

Marking Scheme
+1 mark for each correct answer
Negative marking of 1/4th marks for each incorrect answer
No marks will be deducted or awarded for unattempted questions
