NEET UG Counselling 2025: Round 3 Seat Allotment Out, Know Everything About Seat Matrix, Admission, and More

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has officially released the Round 3 seat allotment result for NEET UG Counselling 2025. Candidates who participated in this round can now check their provisional allotment status on the official website, that is, mcc.nic.in. Along with the seat allotment, they can also check their admission status and other key details. This year, about 147 seats have been newly added to the list of available seats. These seats have been added in 7 medical colleges across different states, namely, Assam, Jharkhand, Jammu & Kashmir, Karnataka, Uttar Pradesh and West Bengal. 

What Is the Round 3 Seat Allotment?

Round 3 is part of the All India Quota (AIQ) counselling process conducted by MCC for admission into MBBS and BDS courses across India. This round includes seats from:

  • Central and Deemed Universities

  • AIIMS and JIPMER institutions

  • ESIC and AFMC colleges

The provisional seat allotment list contains details such as:

  • Candidate’s roll number

  • Allotted college and course (MBBS/BDS)

  • Category and All India Rank (AIR)

Important Dates and Instructions to Note

  • The provisional result was published on 22 October 2025.

  • Any discrepancies in the result must be reported to MCC via email at mccresultquery@gmail.com by 6:00 PM on October 22.

  • After the given deadline, the provisional result will be considered final and no changes will be entertained. 

NEET UG Counselling 2025: Admission and Reporting Process

Candidates who have been allotted seats must go through the next steps that are required to confirm admission. The steps include first downloading the seat allotment result, then physically appearing at the college. The detailed steps are given below to help the candidates out: 

  1. Download the provisional allotment letter from the MCC portal.

  2. Report physically to the allotted college within the specified dates (as mentioned in the allotment letter).

  3. Carry all required documents for verification, including:

  • NEET UG 2025 scorecard

  • Allotment letter

  • Identity proof

  • Educational certificates

  • Category certificate (if applicable)

It is important to note that no claim can be made based on the provisional result alone, and it cannot be challenged in court.

NEET UG Counselling 2025: Seat Matrix Overview

The seat matrix for Round 3 includes:

  • Vacant seats from previous rounds

  • Newly added seats from colleges that received approval

  • Seats reserved for Persons with Disabilities (PwD), with a dedicated portal for certificate generation, active until October 18

Candidates were allowed to fill and lock their choices until 11:55 PM on October 18, after which the allotment process was carried out based on merit and preferences.

What’s Next After the Counselling? 

After Round 3, MCC may conduct a Stray Vacancy Round for the remaining seats. Note that, in this round, only candidates who were not allotted any seat in previous rounds will be allotted seats according to their worth. 

Candidates are advised to visit mcc.nic.in regularly for updates and follow the instructions mentioned in the allotment letter carefully. Additionally, Ensure timely reporting to avoid cancellation of the allotted seat.
