CMAT 2026 Registration Open: Applicants Urged to Apply before 17 November

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has begun the registration for the Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) 2026. The CMAT 2026 registration is open from October 17, 2025, to November 17, 2025. This national-level exam by NTA is the gateway to more than 1,300 AICTE-approved MBA and PGDM colleges across India. The application fee ranges from INR 1250 to INR 2500, depending on the category. The exam is expected to be held in January 2026. Candidates must apply online through the official CMAT website before the deadline, with a correction window available shortly after registration closes.  Students who wish to get admission into top management institutes should apply soon, as the registration will close on November 17, 2025, at 11:50 PM.

Step 1: On the CMAT official site, exams.nta.ac.in/CMAT, go to the registration section.

CMAT 2026 Exam Pattern and Eligibility

The CMAT 2026 test will be an online test in the form of a Computer-Based Test (CBT) and will last three hours (180 minutes). The candidates will be required to answer 100 multiple-choice questions. The paper will contain five parts: Quantitative Techniques and Data Interpretation, Logical Reasoning, Language Comprehension, General Awareness, and Innovation and Entrepreneurship.

To qualify for CMAT 2026, the candidates should have graduated or be in their final year of the degree program. The exam does not have any age restrictions to appear in it, so it is open to all management students who aspire to take it.
