NEET UG 2025 Counselling: Last Chance to Register for Stray Vacancies, Apply Before Deadline

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has started the final round of NEET UG 2025 counselling, also referred to as the Stray Vacancy Round. This is the last opportunity for eligible candidates to grab a seat in MBBS, BDS, or B.Sc. Nursing courses under the All India Quota. If any candidate had missed earlier rounds or wants to upgrade their seat, this round is their last and final opportunity.

Both Private and Government colleges will participate in this counselling campaign. Note that no fresh registration will be allowed after November 9. Seat allotment will be based on merit and the choices filled.

Eligibility For NEET UG 2025 Stray Vacancy Counselling: Who Can Apply?

To be eligible for the stray vacancy round of the NEET UG counselling 2025, candidates must meet certain basic criteria. This includes: 

• The candidate must have qualified NEET UG 2025.

• One should not have joined any seat allotted in previous rounds.

• Candidates who registered earlier but didn’t get a seat can also apply.

• Those who got a seat but didn’t report are eligible too.

• Additionally, those who were allotted a seat but are not satisfied with the same can also apply. 

Note:- Candidates who have already joined a seat and reported to the college are not eligible for this round.

Step 2: Click on the ‘UG Medical Counselling’ section given at the top.

Step 3: Select ‘Stray Vacancy Round Registration’.

Step 4: Fill in your details and upload the required documents.

Step 5: Now, pay the registration fee online.

Step 6: Complete choice filling and locking within the given dates.

Make sure to double-check your choices before locking. Once locked, they cannot be changed.

What’s After the NEET UG Stray Vacancy Counselling 2025 Allotment

If you get a seat in the counselling round, follow these steps: 

• Download your allotment letter from the MCC website.

• Report to the allotted college between November 13 and 20.

• Carry all original documents and fees as per college instructions.

Note that failure to report within the deadline will result in cancellation of the seat.
