The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has put NEET PG Counselling 2025 Round 3 choice locking on hold until further notice. Candidates can check official updates on the MCC website. According to the latest MCC notification, the decision has been taken after the National Medical Commission (NMC) informed MCC about a pending matter in the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India. Because of this, the NEET PG 2025 counselling schedule for Round 3, including choice locking and seat allotment, has been temporarily paused.

Candidates can submit their preferences till 8:00 AM on January 30, 2026, through the official website. NEET PG Counselling 2025 Round 3: Important Updates
To increase the number of students being eligible in Round 3, MCC has reduced the NEET PG 2025 cut-off marks for various categories. The authority has also revised the Round 3 seat matrix, with several seats added and some removed across medical colleges.
The registration process for Round 3 ended on January 26, 2026. The counselling process includes registration fee payment, college choice filling and locking and seat allotment based on merit. Admissions will be granted according to the NEET PG 2025 rank, choices filled by candidates and seat availability.

Step 5: The candidate can then use those credentials to log in and enter your personal details such as personal details, contact details, category and nationality.
