NEET UG latest updates 2026: More than 3.2 lakh candidates have submitted online requests for NEET centre change in re-exam. The NEET UG Re exam is scheduled to take place on 21 June 2026.
The large number of applications applying for the NEET UG centre changes shows that students are facing problems after the re-exam date was changed. Students from different states and small towns want exam centres to be closer to their homes because travelling a long distance requires time and increases cost, which makes it inconvenient for the applicants.
To help students, the National Testing Agency (NTA) opened an online facility in which the eligible candidates can request changes in their allotted exam centres. Many students have used this option to choose locations that are easier to reach and better suited to their travel plans.
Since lakhs of students will appear for the test again, proper exam centre allocation has become an important task for both students and the authorities.
Students who have requested a change in their exam centre should keep checking the official NTA website regularly for confirmation updates, revised admit cards and any new instructions related to the examination centres before the exam.
