NEET 2026 LIVE Updates: Application Correction Window Ends Tomorrow; Admit Card Release Awaited

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has opened the application rectification window of the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET UG) 2026. The official site allows registered candidates to make changes to the authorized information in the application forms. The correction facility will be available until March 14, 2026.

The NEET UG 2026 examination is scheduled to be conducted on May 3, 2026, from 2 pm to 5 pm in offline pen-and-paper mode for admission to MBBS and BDS programmes across India.

Application Fee

For NEET UG 2026 registration, candidates were required to pay the following application fees:

• General and NRI candidates: INR 1,700

• General-EWS and OBC-NCL: INR 1,600

• SC, ST, PwBD, and third gender candidates: INR 1,000

• Candidates choosing exam centres outside India: INR 9,500

Earlier, the registration process was scheduled to end on March 8, but the deadline was extended to March 11.

Documents Required for NEET Registration

While applying for NEET UG 2026, candidates were required to upload the following documents:

• Class 10 certificate

• Class 12 certificate

• Valid photo ID proof

• Category or PwBD certificate (if applicable)

• Address details

• Scanned photograph and signature

Languages for NEET UG 2026

Like previous years, the exam is expected to be conducted in 13 languages:

• English

• Hindi

• Assamese

• Bengali

• Gujarati

• Kannada

• Malayalam

• Marathi

• Odia

• Punjabi

• Tamil

• Telugu

• Urdu

NEET UG 2026: Correction Window Details

According to the official notification, candidates can edit specific fields in their application form during the correction period.

Fields where candidates can change any one:

• Father’s Name, Qualification and Occupation

• Mother’s Name, Qualification and Occupation

Fields where candidates can change or add details:

• Educational qualification details (Class 10 and Class 12)

• State/UT from where Class 12 or equivalent is passed/appearing

• Category

• Sub-category/PwD status

• Signature

• Number of attempts in NEET (UG)

Fields editable based on permanent and present address:

• Examination city selection

• Medium of the examination

Additionally, identity details can be corrected only by candidates who registered using an identity document other than Aadhaar.
