IIT Guwahati GATE 2026: In a recent announcement, it has been disclosed that the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Guwahati is planning to shut the GATE form correction facility on March 12. This facility is accessible only to those applicants whose GATE forms have been identified as marked as defective or provisionally accepted. Concerned candidates have been informed via email about the requirement to make corrections in their GATE application forms.
For making changes, they have to log in to the GOAPS portal at goaps.iitg.ac.in with the help of their enrollment ID and password. Furthermore, correction fees must be paid, for which there are various options like credit card, debit card, internet banking, or UPI wallet.

Step 2 - Click on the Application Portal option.
Step 3 - Here, the candidate will have to provide their enrollment ID and password to log in.
Step 4 - Once logged in, find the correction link on the dashboard.
Step 5 - Choose the particular data to make changes.
Step 6 - After completing the payment of fees, submit the revised form.
Step 7 - Keep the downloaded copy of the form for your reference.

GATE 2026 Result Date
GATE 2026 results will be published by IIT Guwahati on March 19. Candidates who appeared in the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering on February 7, 8, 14, and 15 can get their results at the GOAPS portal gate2026.iitg.ac.in using their enrollment ID and password. The cut-off marks for all 30 subjects will be announced along with the results. The scorecards can be downloaded from March 27 to May 31.
