NTA Extends NEET 2026 Application Last Date to March 11: Here’s How to Fill out the Form

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has extended the registration deadline for NEET UG 2026 to March 11 until 9 PM. Candidates can complete and submit their application forms on the official website. The payment window for the application fee will remain open until 11:50 PM on the same day.

After the registration process closes, the testing authority will provide a correction window for registered candidates to make necessary changes in their NEET UG 2026 application forms. The dates for the city intimation slip and admit card release have not yet been announced. However, the NEET UG 2026 exam will be conducted in pen-and-paper mode on May 3, and the examination will take place from 2 PM to 5 PM.

NEET UG 2026: Documents Required for Registration

Students applying for admission to MBBS and BDS courses through NEET UG 2026 must upload the following documents during the registration process:

•  Class 10 certificate or marksheet

•  Class 12 details or appearing certificate

•  Valid photo ID proof (such as Aadhaar card, passport, voter ID, or driving licence)

•  Category certificate (for SC/ST/OBC-NCL/EWS candidates, if applicable)

•  PwBD certificate (if applicable)

•  Permanent and correspondence address details

•  Scanned photograph and signature

Also, the testing authority has issued some guidelines for submitting the NEET UG 2026 application form. Candidates should upload a recent coloured photograph with a white or light background. The face must be clearly visible, and the image should not contain shadows or blur.

However, all the candidates are advised to upload all the images in a JPG or JPEG format, and their size should be between 10 KB and 200 KB. Also, it has been clarified that candidates are not to wear caps, sunglasses, or heavy accessories to ensure the photo is clear.

Step 2:  On the homepage, click the NEET UG 2026 registration link.

Step 3: A new page will open.

Step 4: Enter the required registration details.

Step 5: Click the submit button and complete the NEET UG 2026 application form.

Step 6: Pay the required application fee.

Step 7: Submit the form.

Step 8: Download and save the confirmation page for future reference.
