NBEMS Begins FMGE 2026 Registration: Check Details Here

The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has started the registration process for the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE) June 2026 session. Candidates who completed their medical studies abroad and want to practice medicine in India can now apply online through the official website, natboard.edu.in.

The last date to submit the FMGE 2026 application form is May 11, 2026, till 11:55 PM. The examination will be held on June 28, 2026 in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode at centres across India.

FMGE 2026 Important Dates

Eligibility Criteria for  FMGE 2026

As for pursuing the examination, candidates must fulfil some eligibility criteria .A candidate must be an Indian citizen or an Overseas Citizen of India (OCI)and have completed an MBBS degree or equivalent foreign medical qualification on or before April 30, 2026. Also, the documents must be provided before the deadlines. However, If candidates fail to submit proof of qualification by the required date, their candidature may be cancelled.

Internship Requirement For FMGE 

Candidates must complete their medical degree and any compulsory internship required by their foreign university before appearing for FMGE 2026. After passing the exam, candidates will need to complete a 12 to 24-month internship in India to receive permanent registration and legally practice medicine in the country.

Step Register using email ID and mobile number

Step 2:  Fill out the online application form

Step 3: Upload photograph, signature, thumb impression, and documents

Step 4: Select preferred test city

Step 5: Pay the application fee

Step 6: Submit the form and download the confirmation page

Result Date

NBEMS is expected to declare the FMGE June 2026 result by July 28, 2026 on the official website. Candidates will be able to check results using their login details.
