JEE Advanced 2026 registration started today, which is significant since the applicants of the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) seek admission. Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee has also opened the application process to the qualified candidate who has passed JEE Main 2026. Registration will start at 10 AM on the site.
The applicants who are interested should retain their JEE Main 2026 application number and password because these will be used to log in and fill the registration form. JEE Advanced 2026 application fee has been set at INR 3200 to the candidates who fall under the unreserved category and INR 1600 to female candidates and those who belong to the SC, ST and PwD category. The applications also demand applicants in reserved categories to attach valid category certificates during the application.
May 2, 2026, is the final date to apply to the JEE Advanced 2026. But those who manage to register successfully will be given until May 4, 2026 to pay the application fee. The JEE Advanced 2026 exam will take place on May 17, 2026.
Eligibility Criteria
Only candidates who meet specific eligibility conditions can apply for JEE Advanced 2026. Students must be among the top 2.5 lakh candidates in the JEE Main 2026 merit list or have secured scores above the prescribed cutoff. In addition, applicants should have been born on or after October 1, 2001 (with a relaxation up to October 1, 2006 for reserved categories). Candidates must also have passed their Class 12 examination in either 2025 or 2026.
