IAT Registration 2026: IISER to Start the Application Process Today; Check Eligibility and Steps to Apply Here

The Indian Institutes of Science Education and Research (IISER) will begin the registration process for the IISER Aptitude Test (IAT) 2026 on 5th March 2026. Candidates who are interested in applying for the IAT Entrance Test can complete the registration process from the official website of IAT. The IAT entrance exam is scheduled for 7th June 2026 and candidates seeking admission to IISER Berhampur, IISER Bhopal, IISER Kolkata, IISER Mohali, IISER Pune, IISER Thiruvananthapuram and IISER Tirupati need to appear for the IISER Aptitude Test (IAT) 2026 as the admission of the candidates depends on the marks obtained in this entrance exam, not JEE Scores. IAT 2026 Important Dates

The IISER Aptitude Test (IAT) 2026 is scheduled to be conducted on 7th June 2026 and the registration for this entrance exam will begin on 5th March 2026. IAT 2026 Eligibility Criteria 

To appear for the IISER Aptitude Test (IAT) 2026 entrance exam, candidates must ensure that they are completing the eligibility criteria. The Eligibility requirements for the IAT entrance exam are as follows: 

• Candidates must have passed their 12th or equivalent in 2024 and 2026. Students appearing in 2026 can also apply. 

• Candidates must have completed their 12th with at least three subjects among Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Mathematics. 

• Applicants must have secured 60% marks in their 12th and 55% for the SC, ST and PwD.

Step 1: Check the official website, i.e., https://iiseradmission.in/. 

Step 2: Now, click on the “Apply for IAT-2026” available on the homepage.

Step 3: Complete the registration process to generate User ID and Password.

Step 4: Fill the application forms and enter all personal details and educational qualifications. 

Step 5: Upload all the documents, like photographs, signatures, and Valid ID proofs, in the required format.

Step 6: Pay the application fee, which is non-refundable, and submit the application form. 

Step 7: Download the application forms for future reference.
