The I-Hub Foundation of Cobotics (IHFC) or the Technology Innovation Hub of the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi, in collaboration with Simplilearn, is going to provide a creative learning experience for students, plus Microsoft is about to launch some prestigious certification programs in Data Analytics (DA) & Artificial Intelligence (AI) for willing candidates.
As per IIT Delhi’s Tech Innovation Department, the initiative is being put up in the middle surging demand for AI and data professionals, that too when the AI market is predicted to grow at a Compound Annual Growth Rate (CAGR) of over 34 per cent by 2030. Ashutosh Dutt Sharma, the CEO of IHFC-IIT Delhi, mentioned, “The aim of this partnership is to give Indian tech professionals access to the most industry-relevant and research-backed learning programs.”
Certifications Offered by Microsoft
IIT, partnering with Microsoft and Simplearn, is providing two certificate programs. The first programme, mainly strengthening data analytics and generative AI, SQL, and Tableau, combines Excel, Python, and IBM modules with advanced AI applications.
The second programme covers the full AI ecosystem, possessing data science, deep learning, NLP, computer vision, and MLOps — through over 12 projects and 20 industry tools. Participants will have access to masterclasses by IHFC faculty and industry experts, along with incubation support of up to INR 2 crore for select innovators.
Microsoft Certification Programmes include Data Analytics, Adaptive Systems, Generative AI, and an expertised Certificate courses in Generative AI, Intelligent Automation and Machine Learning. These programs are designed to bridge the void between academic excellence and industry-oriented learning. Graduates will be receiving joint certification from IHFC–IIT Delhi and Microsoft, along with career support and mentorship opportunities.
