IIM Ranchi, FPSB India Launches Executive Programmes: Check Details Here

IIM Ranchi, in collaboration with FPSB India, has launched a new executive programme in Advanced Financial Planning and Digital Finance. The course is designed mainly for working professionals who want to build strong skills in personal finance and earn the globally recognised CFP (Certified Financial Planner) certification.

According to the official announcement, the programme combines the international curriculum of the CFP certification with IIM Ranchi’s academic expertise in modern finance areas such as financial analytics, artificial intelligence, digital finance, and sustainable finance. The course aims to help participants develop practical skills required in the growing financial services industry.

The programme will begin in June 2026 and will run for 12 months. It will follow a hybrid learning format, which means students will learn through a mix of online classes and campus immersion sessions. The course requires a minimum enrollment of 30 participants.

IIM - Ranchi Eligibility Criteria

Graduates who have completed an undergraduate or postgraduate degree from any recognised institution are eligible to apply. Applicants should have completed their education through the 10+2+3 academic pathway or an equivalent qualification.

What Students Will Learn

Participants in the programme will gain knowledge and practical exposure in several important areas of financial planning. These include:

• Financial analytics

• AI-driven wealth planning

• Behavioural finance

• Alternative investments

• Sustainable finance and ESG frameworks

• Global financial regulations and compliance

• Digital finance strategy

• Portfolio engineering

The programme will be led by Prof. Manish Bansal and Prof. Raveesh Krishnankutty, who will serve as programme heads. The curriculum is designed to give students both technical knowledge and practical skills needed to pursue the CFP certification. It also focuses on ethical financial practices and real-world application of financial planning strategies.

IIM - Ranchi Fee Structure

The total programme fee is INR 5,00,000 +  GST. The fee will be paid in two installments. As in the First installment, the total amount is INR 3,00,000 + GST, and in the second installment, the total amount is INR 2,00,000 + GST.

However, the fee covers learning materials, online access to course resources, and campus immersion sessions. Participants will benefit from both academic learning and practical industry exposure during the programme.

Deepak Kumar Srivastava, Director of IIM Ranchi, said that the institute is committed to preparing professionals who can handle complex financial challenges with strong knowledge and ethical values. He added that the partnership with FPSB India aims to combine academic learning with global professional standards.

He further explained that by bringing together advanced digital finance, analytics, and artificial intelligence with the globally recognised CFP certification pathway, the programme will help professionals gain the skills needed to lead future innovations in wealth management and financial advisory services.
