The Indian Institute of Technology Bombay has opened the application portal for admission to its Bachelor of Design (B.Des) programmes for the 2026 academic session. All the candidates who are eligible can begin submitting their applications from March 14, 2026, through the official portal.
Students who have qualified in the Undergraduate Common Entrance Examination for Design (UCEED) and are eligible for admission to participating and result sharing institutes can now apply for the B.Des programmes. The application window will remain open until April 10, 2026, at 5:30 PM.
The application form is for B.Des programmes offered at several institutes, including the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay, Indian Institute of Technology Delhi, Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati, Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad, Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee, Indian Institute of Technology Indore, and Indian Institute of Information Technology Design and Manufacturing Jabalpur.
Steps to Fill the B.Des Application Form
The candidates can complete the application process by following these simple steps:
Step 3: See the corrected seat plan of participating institutes.
Step 4: Check your UCEED information.
Step 5: complete the B.Des application form, with personal information, education information, Institute preferences.
Step 6: Post all the necessary documents.
Step 7: Pay the application fee.
Step 8: Fill the form and download with the filled application.
Step 9: Take a print and upload the signed application form.
