The NTA has started the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) UG 2026 registration on its official website from 3 January 2026. With the start of the application process, it is the beginning of one of the important admission cycles for undergraduate programmes in central universities, state-run universities and other private institutions in India. Students who want to get admission in the top colleges should carefully fill out all the details.
Students wishing to apply to Undergraduate Degree Programs for the year 2026 through the Common University Entrance Test (CUET). The CUET UG 2026 test will be administered by the National Testing Agency (NTA), and the registration process will go on till 30 January 206. The application correction window is scheduled to be opened between 2 and 4th February 2026.

Step‑by‑Step Application Process for CUET UG 2026
Step 1: The candidates can visit the official website, the link for which is examinationservices.nic.in/ExamSysCUETUG26/root/Home.aspx?enc=Ei4cajBkK1gZSfgr53ImFYsjZOdyj8DuPcxGBqAK2DwPXgGzSvy8OkvXqQJ0Bni9. Once on it , click on the “New Registration” link.

Step 2: Complete Basic Registration by filling in the name, DOB, email ID and mobile number. Enter a strong password and copy down the application number.
Step 3: Fill out the Application Form by putting your academic qualifications, subjects of preference and universities of choice. Also, upload a scanned image of a passport‑size photograph and signature in the specified format.
Step 4: Candidates will have the opportunity to choose four exam centres out of which the centre will be allotted. The centres are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis.
Step 5: To pay the application fee, they may use a debit card, credit card, internet banking or UPI. Once they make their payment, be sure to confirm that the transaction was successful and download and print the receipt of the payment received.
Step 6: Be certain to check the application thoroughly before submitting it. Once the candidates have submitted the application, make sure to download and print it out for future use.

CUET UG 2026 General Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed Class 12 or equivalent examination from a recognised board.
Age Limit: There is no age restriction, but prospective students must meet the eligibility criteria set by the universities they choose to apply to.
