Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has postponed the last date of application for Class 10 scholarship and incentive schemes. Students now have until September 15, 2025 to register. All these schemes are the Chief Minister Girl Child Incentive Scheme, the Chief Minister Student Incentive Scheme, and merit scholarships for SC/ST and backward class students.
The last date has been extended to enable more and more students to receive financial assistance for their education. No opportunity will be available after this date. The application form can be filled out online through the official website of MedhaSoft: medhasoft.bihar.gov.in.
BSEB Class 10 Scholarship Eligibility 2025
The extended registration is available for students who cleared the Class 10 board exam with first division in 2022, 2023, or 2024. Students belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC) or Scheduled Tribes (ST) who secured second division in these years may also apply. These incentive and scholarship schemes are intended to help poor and disadvantaged students by providing them with financial assistance and motivating them to pursue their education.

Chief Minister Student Incentive Scheme – Monetary assistance for students
Chief Minister BC/EBC Merit Scholarship—For Backward Class and Extremely Backward Class students with good performance
Chief Minister SC/ST Merit Scholarship—For Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe students with good marks
Earlier, the lists of suitable candidates were posted on the MedhaSoft website designed by NIC. Yet, a recent analysis indicated that most students had not completed their registration on the eKalyan website.
How to apply for Class 10 Scholarship 2025
Step 1: Visit the official MedhaSoft portal: https://medhasoft.bihar.gov.in/.
Step 2: If you are not registered yet, register. You will receive a user ID and password on your registered mobile number and email.
Step 3: Log in through these credentials and fill out the scholarship application form carefully.
Step 4: Ensure that you have a bank account in your own name in a nationalized bank, an approved private bank, or an India Post Payment Bank. The branch of the bank should be in Bihar.
Step 5: Save or print the confirmation for future reference after filling the form.

Aadhaar card: The Aadhaar number should be linked with the mobile number and bank account.
Class 10 marksheet: scanned copy of BSEB 2025 marksheet.
Bank passbook: copy of active bank account in student's name.
Proof of residence: certificate of permanent residence in Bihar.
Caste certificate: for SC/ST or other reserved classes (if applicable).
Passport-size photograph: a recent photograph (if needed).
Mobile number and e-mail ID: for OTP verification and receiving updates.
