Registration for TNEA 2026 was opened from May 3 and is scheduled to close on June 2. Candidates are required to submit their certificates by June 6, following which the rank list will be published on June 29. Counselling will take place in July to guide candidates in the admission process. This year, there are over 2 lakh engineering seats at 400-plus colleges under Anna University. The systematic process allows candidates to keep track of their dates right from the time of registration until the counselling process.

The eligibility criteria for different engineering courses are given below-

Step 3 – Uploading Documents
Upload necessary documents such as Mark sheet of 12th standard, Certificate of Community, Nativity Certificate, and Photograph/Signature.
Step 4 – Fee Payment
Make the payment of fee through the available online options. The fee for the general category is INR 500, while for the reserved category it is INR 250.
Step 5 - Download of Form
Download the filled up form from the online website for further use during the the counselling process.
Step 6 - Verification of certificates
Get your certificates verified at various TNEA Facilitation Centres (TFCs) on June 8, 2026 - June 20, 2026.
Step 8 - Viewing Rank List
Check out your rank on June 29, 2026.
