BITS Pilani has opened the BITSAT 2026 registration window starting from December 15, 2025. Candidates may take the exam at Session 1 or Session 2, or at both sessions. The exam is fully online, computer-based and incorporates an adaptive question format for two sessions so that students have a second chance to raise their scores and only the better score will be considered for admissions. There is no other option but to apply only through the official website at admissions.bits-pilani.ac.in
BITSAT 2026 Exam: Important Dates and Events
There are going to be two rounds of examinations, which means that students will have an additional opportunity to enhance their grades. Students are allowed to participate in a single session or both. In case a student sits for the exam twice, the better result will be taken into account for admission. BITSAT 2026 Exam Pattern
BITSAT 2026 is a computer-based, adaptive test that covers five main areas: Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics or Biology (according to the candidate's stream), English Proficiency, and Logical Reasoning. There are 130 main questions, along with a maximum of 12 extra questions for individuals who finish the main test quickly. The scoring is done in the usual way where each right answer is awarded +3 marks, a wrong one leads to -1 marks, and an unattempted question gets 0.
