The Vellore Institute of Technology has officially announced the counselling schedule for the VIT Engineering Entrance Examination (VITEEE) 2026. Earlier, the VITEEE 2026 result was declared on May 8 through the official VIT portal. Candidates who successfully qualified in the entrance exam are now eligible to participate in the online counselling process for admission into various BTech courses offered at VIT campuses.
According to the released schedule, candidates securing ranks up to 20,000 are required to complete counselling registration along with fee payment by May 11, 2026. The Phase 1 choice filling window will remain open from May 12 to May 13, 2026.

VITEEE 2026 Counselling Registration Process and Fee Details
The counselling process for VITEEE 2026 is being held in online mode only. Eligible candidates need to sign in using their VIT login credentials and complete the counselling registration procedure. During registration applicants must pay a non-refundable counselling fee of INR 5,900. The paid amount will later be adjusted against the tuition fee once admission is confirmed.
Admission to BTech programmes will be granted based on the candidate’s merit rank obtained in VITEEE 2026. Students with ranks below 1 lakh are eligible to participate in counselling for all VIT campuses. Candidates obtaining ranks above 1 lakh can apply only for admissions at VIT AP and VIT Bhopal campuses.
Candidates from the Biology stream in VITEEE 2026 are also eligible to apply for programmes such as Biotechnology, Bioengineering, and Health Sciences. For more details related to counselling and admission process candidates are advised to visit the official website at viteee.vit.ac.in.
