The Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS), Pilani, is conducting the BITSAT counselling 2026 process. BITS Pilani conducts a centralised counselling process for admission in B.E/B. Pharm and integrated M.E courses are offered at Pilani, Goa, and Hyderabad campuses. The counselling process is conducted according to the pre-defined schedule released by the authorities, and this year the counselling process has been conducted in 6 rounds. Apart from this, counselling can be continued in case of vacant seats.
The BITSAT 2026 Iteration result for round 6 is scheduled to be released on August 10 and the deadline for fee payment is 14th August 2026. Candidates who are satisfied with the alloted course and college must complete the fee payment before the deadline for confirming their seats. Candidates can check the seat allotment result from the new admission portal using their login credentials sent to their registered email addresses. Candidates will get admission on the basis fo marks scored by them in BITS Pilani entrance exam and programme preferences submitted during counselling. BITSAT Counselling 2026: How Does BITSAT Seat Allotment Work?
BITS Pilani conducts the admission process through different iterations. Candidates can check how BITSAT Seat Allotment Work.
Candidates will be allotted seats based on their merit and marks scored BITSAT entrance exam.
BITS Pilani will provide seats according to the course and campus preferences submitted by candidates.
If a seat is allotted, candidates need to pay the required admission fee before the last date.
Students may get an chance to upgrade their course or campus in further iteration if seats are vacant.
Candidates who do not get a seat in an iteration can remain on the waiting list and may be considered in the next rounds.

BITSAT 2026 Iteration VI: What Next?
Candidates who are allotted a programme and college as per their preference must check their admission status. For confirming the admission candidates muse pay the seat allotment fee in specified timeline. Apart from this, in the further admission process selected applicants need to report to their respective campuses on 17th August 2026.
If any seats remains vacant, BITS Pilani may conduct Iteration VII. The announcement will be made on August 18, followed by the fee payment and reporting deadlines on August 21 and August 22, respectively.
