The AP LAWCET and AP PGLCET registration process for the academic year 2026 started on February 12, 2026. Every year, these exams are conducted for those students who are interested in taking law courses in Andhra Pradesh. AP LAWCET is held for admission to LL.B courses of both 3 and 5 years, and AP PGLCET is for LL.M courses. Eligibility Criteria
AP LAWCET (LL.B Courses)
3‑Year LL.B: Candidate must hold a bachelor’s degree from a recognized university.
5‑Year LL.B: Candidate must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination.
Minimum marks required: 45% (general), 42% (OBC), 40% (SC/ST).
AP PGLCET (LL.M Courses)
Candidate must hold an LL.B degree.
Minimum marks required: 50% (general), 45% (SC/ST).
Application Process
Step 1: Eligibility Criteria and Fee Payment
The candidate must visit AP LAWCET - 2026 and provide their qualifying exam hall ticket number, candidate name, date of birth, mobile number, and email ID. Select your stream (3-year LL.B, 5-year LL.B, or LL.M) and pay the fee online via credit/debit card or net banking.
Step 2: Know Your Payment Status
Enter the qualifying exam hall ticket number and mobile number to verify that the transaction was successful. They will receive a Payment Reference ID, which is required for the next steps.
Step 3: Fill Application
Enter credentials using the Payment Reference ID, hall ticket number, phone number, and date of birth. Enter personal details (Aadhaar number, parent’s name, address, etc.), category details, educational qualifications, etc.
Step 4- Upload Documents & Select Test Centers
The candidates need to upload the documents such as a passport size photo not more than 50 KB in .jpg format, and the scanned signature not more than 30 KB in .jpg format. The candidates need to choose their preferred test centers from the drop-down list as well.
Step 5: Preview and Final Submission
Before submitting your application, you should click on "Preview" to check everything you have typed. After you are sure of everything, you can click "Confirm / Freeze" to send your application. Many of your application details cannot be changed after "freezing".
Step 6: Print Application Form
Download it and keep it in your records in PDF form, as this physical copy of the application will be needed for your entrance examination and subsequent counseling sessions.
