The Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) has officially declared the Mains Result 2025 for the recruitment of Junior Assistant, Junior Clerk, and Assistant Level-III posts. Candidates who appeared for the written examination under Advertisement No. 08-Exam/2023 on 29 June 2025 can now check and download their individual scorecards from the commission’s official website, upsssc.gov.in.

The exam was conducted for the recruitment of over 5,500 vacancies across various departments in Uttar Pradesh. The main examination was conducted on June 29, 2025, and thousands of aspirants participated in the competitive test aimed at securing clerical-level government jobs.

Note: The commission has also released a cut-off list and merit ranking for candidates shortlisted for the next phase. Those who meet the qualifying criteria will be invited for a typing proficiency test, which is mandatory for clerical roles.

How to Check Your UPSSSC Mains Result 2025

To check your score, marks, and the overall result, you need to download the UPSSSC Main Result 2025. For this, Candidates can follow these steps to access their scorecards:

Step 1: The first step in the entire process is to visit upsssc.gov.in

Step 2: Tap on the cursor close button to view the main website properly. The website will look like this

Step 3: Scroll down to find the result section. And tap on it.

Step 4: Now, click on the red-painted Link titled “Result – Junior Assistant/Clerk/Level-III Mains Exam 2025”

Step 5: Finally, enter your Registration NumberDate of Birth, and Verification Code, and click on the See Result option.

Step 6: Your scorecard will be displayed on the screen. Download and print the scorecard for future reference.

The result portal will remain active until October 28, 2025, so candidates are advised to download their scorecards well before the deadline.

Important Update: UPSSSC is now available in APP format too. This app is easier to access, operate, and use. It will include everything about the exam, dates, exam, results, answer key, and more. You can download it from the Play Store. 

What Happens Next?

Candidates who have qualified in the written exam will now proceed to the Typing Test, which is expected to be scheduled in November 2025. The typing test will assess candidates’ speed and accuracy in Hindi and English typing, as per the post requirements.

After the typing test, shortlisted candidates will undergo:

  • Document Verification: To confirm eligibility and qualifications.

  • Medical Examination: To ensure fitness for government service.

The final selection will be based on cumulative performance across all stages, and the final merit list will be published thereafter.

Important Instructions for Candidates

  • Keep your original documents ready for verification.

  • Practice typing regularly to meet the required speed benchmarks.

  • Follow updates on the official website for typing test dates and venue details.

  • Any discrepancy in the scorecard should be reported immediately via the Grievance Redressal Portal on UPSSSC’s website.

UPSSC Mains 2025: Cut-Off Marks and Merit List

UPSSSC has also released category-wise cut-off marks along with the result. These benchmarks vary based on the number of applicants, the difficulty level of the exam, and the reservation norms. Candidates can download the cut-off PDF from the result page to assess their standing.

The merit list includes roll numbers of candidates who have cleared the written exam and are eligible for the next round. It is advised to check your roll number carefully and note your rank if mentioned.
