The National Testing Agency (NTA) is going to release the NIFT 2026 provisional answer key soon, most probably on February 15, 2026. The answer key will be available for courses like B.Des, B.F.Tech, M.Des, M.F.Tech and MFM. As per last year’s schedule of February 15, the answer key may be released around the same day this year as well.
The candidates who have appeared for the exam can download the NIFT 2026 answer key from the official website. The process would be simple by logging in with their Application ID and Password. The answer key will be released only for the General Ability Test (GAT).
Along with the answer key, NTA will also upload the question paper and candidates response sheets. This will help students to check their answers, calculate their expected scores and see if there are any mistakes in the official answers. With this, students can raise their objections if they find any errors in the provisional answer key. To challenge a question, they need to pay a fee of ₹200 per question.
