The National Testing Agency (NTA) is set to open the application window for the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) Entrance Exam 2026 soon. Candidates aiming to enroll in undergraduate and postgraduate design programs at NIFT should prepare their documents in advance. The NIFT entrance exam is expected to be held in February 2026.
This application covers multiple design courses, including Bachelor of Design (B.Des), Master of Design (M.Des), Bachelor of Fashion Technology (B.F.Tech), Master of Fashion Technology (M.F.Tech), and Master of Fashion Management (M.F.M). A single application form is used for all these programs.

NIFT 2026 Application Fees
Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria (like age limits, education qualifications, and others) for the program can apply before the last date. Also, there is an option to register for the NIFT 2026 with regular and late fees. The fee structure for General/OBC is INR 3000, the fee for SC/ST/ and PwD candidates is INR 1500. If any candidate is not able to apply within the deadline, they can even apply with a late fee of around INR 5000.
Steps To Apply For The NIFT 2026 Exam
The application process for NIFT 2026 for admission in various UG and PG courses in design is as follows:
Step 1: Candidates need to visit the official website of NTA. When the application opens, the link will be available.
Step 2:Find the registration link that will be related to the “NIFT 2026 Application Form”.
Step 3: Click on the registration link to create an account by providing your Aadhar number, email ID, and mobile number.
Step 4: Now, log in once again to fill out the application form by giving all the required information
Step 5: While filling the NIFT application form, the next step is to choose the exam center as per your convenience.
Step 6: Upload the scanned document of a passport-size photograph and signature in the specified format.
Step 7: The final step is to pay the application fee to complete the application process. The application fee can be paid through any online payment mode, such as net banking, credit card, debit card, etc.
