Telangana IPE 2026 Exams: TGBIE Opens Application Window For 1st Year Private Arts Students Without College Attendance

The Telangana Board of Intermediate Education (TGBIE) has announced that private students from Arts are to appear for Intermediate Public Examinations (IPE), which is scheduled for March 2026, without attending the college class. Candidates need to submit an online application by 17 November 2025 with a fee of INR 500 in order to appear in the exam. Candidates can submit their applications form through online mode from the official website tgbie.cgg.gov.in.

TGBIE IPE 2026 Eligibility Criteria

Here are the eligibility criteria for the TGBIE IPE 2026 exam:

• Candidates are required to have a gap of a minimum of one year after passing the SSC or an equivalent exam before taking the first-year Intermediate exam.

• Those who passed SSC two or more years earlier are eligible to sit for both the first- and second-year Intermediate exams simultaneously.

• Students switching from Science to Arts/Humanities or within Humanities after failing the second-year exams need to apply for an attendance exemption.

• Candidates who have already cleared both years can reapply to take the Second Language as an additional subject.

• Students who completed SSC from boards outside Telangana must secure an Eligibility Certificate from TGBIE, Hyderabad, and include it with their online exemption application.
