IIT JAM 2026: Application Correction Window Now Open, Check Details And Deadline Here

The  Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay has opened the application correction windows for the Joint Admission Test for Masters (JAM) 2026. Candidates who applied for the exam can visit the official JOAPS website to check the details filled by them and, if needed, make changes if required after logging in with their credentials. The application correction facilities are available till the deadline of 10 November 2025, until 11:59 PM. After the deadline, no further updates will be allowed. As per the notification, the candidates can make changes in their application details such as category, name, date of birth (DoB), city, and paper.

Steps to Make Changes in the IIT JAM 2026 Application Form

Step 1: Candidates need to visit at jam2026.iitb.ac.in, the official website.

Step 2: Click on the  IIT JAM 2026 Application Correction link on its homepage

Step 3: Log in using the registration ID and password

Step 4: Make the necessary corrections in your application form if required

Step 5: Review the updated details carefully before the final submission

Step 6: Download and print the confirmation page of the edited application form for future reference

List of Details that Candidates Can Edit

Those candidates who have submitted their form successfully earlier with paying the application fee for IIT JAM 2026, are only eligible for making changes in their form under the correction facility. Candidates are allowed to make corrections in the following section:

• Name

• Date of Birth

• Genter

• Category

• Photograph and signature if not meet the required format

• Adedmic details

• Exam paper selection 

• Cities selection

While making the corrections in the application form, candidates should keep the following document ready:

• Updated and correct format of photograph and signature

• Valid ID proof for personal details corrections

• Academic records if updates are made

• Valid category certificate (if required)

IIT JAM 2026: Admit Card and Exam Details

The admit card of IIT JAM 2026 is expected to be released in the first week of January 2026. Registered candidates can download their admit card from the official website of IIT Bombay. The JAM examination serves as the gateway for admission to MSc and MS programmes across 22 IITs, covering around 3,000 seats in 89 postgraduate courses.
