Today is the final day to register for the CMAT 2026 exam, as the form submission deadline is 17 November 2025 (till 11:50 PM). The CMAT is a national-level entrance test organized by NTA for students who want admission to MBA and PGDM courses in more than 1,300 approved management institutes across India. If a candidate wishes to appear for CMAT, they must complete their online application on the official website before the window closes. To apply, the applicant has to carefully fill out the registration form with their personal and academic details, upload their passport-size photo and signature and pick the preferred exam cities. 

They also need to make sure to pay the registration fee online before 11:50 PM on 18 November 2025. The fee is INR 2,500 for male candidates and INR 1,250 for female and reserved category candidates. After the fee payment, the candidate should download and save the confirmation page as proof. Only candidates who complete all steps including fee payment, within the timelines will be able to sit for the exam. The CMAT correction window will be open from 20 to 21 November 2025 if the candidate needs to fix any mistakes.

How to Apply for CMAT 2026: Step-by-Step Registration Process

The following is the simple process to apply for the CMAT 2026 exam:

Step 1: Visit the Official Website: Go to the NTA CMAT official portal.

Step 2: Create an Account: New candidates need to register by providing basic details such as name, date of birth, contact number, and email ID to generate a login ID and password.

Step 3: Login and Fill Application Form: Now, complete the online application with personal, educational, and communication details.

Step 4: Submit Required Documents: Upload scanned photographs and signature as per the prescribed specifications.

Step 5: Pay Application Fee: Submit application fees online via net banking, credit/debit card, or UPI. The fee is INR 2,500 for general category male candidates and INR 1,250 for women, transgender, and reserved category candidates.

Step 6: Submit Form: Check the form before final submission and click in the submit button for final submission. After submission, candidates can make corrections if needed during the designated correction period in late December 2025.

CMAT 2026 Eligibility Criteria

Before registering, candidates must check if they meet the eligibility requirements:

  • Candidates must hold a graduation degree (or equivalent) from a recognized university.

  • Final-year graduation students are also eligible to apply.

  • There is no age restriction for appearing in CMAT.

  • Many participating colleges require a minimum score percentage of 45-55% in the qualifying exam.

What After CMAT Registration?  

The CMAT 2026 admit cards are expected to be released around 20 January 2026. Candidates will be able to download and print their hall tickets from the official website. The exam is tentatively scheduled for 24 or 25 January 2026. On the exam day, it is important to arrive at the exam center early and carry a valid ID along with the admit card.
