NEET UG Counselling 2025: Round 1 Registration Window Extended

The first round of the counselling process for the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test 2025 has been extended by MCC until July 31, 2025. Candidates who have passed the exam can take part in the first round of the counselling session.

This extension is for All India Quota seats in MBBS, BDS, and BSc nursing at various institutions such as AIIMS, BHU, ESIC, and JIPMER. Students who have a technical issue earlier can now have until Thursday to register themselves at the official website of the Medical Counselling Committee.

After the registration window closes, the seat allotment results will come out on August 3, 2025. If the candidate is satisfied with the seats that are allotted to them, they can report to the colleges from 4th August to 8th August 2025 for document verification.

In total, there will be four rounds of NEET 2025 Counselling, which is expected to end on 3rd October 2025. If there are seats still available, the number of counselling rounds will be extended.

How to Register for NEET Counselling 2025

Candidates who want to register for the first round of NEET Counselling 2025 should follow the steps given below:

Step 1: Candidates must visit the official website: mcc.nic.in

Step 2: Once the homepage opens up, they must click on the ‘New Registration 2025’ link.

Step 3: Once the link opens, candidates must read all the instructions carefully.

Step 4: Then, they must enter all the details such as NEET UG Roll Number, parents’ names, date of birth, and security code.

Step 4: After the login credentials are created, they will be sent to the candidate’s registered email address.

Step 5: Candidates must log in using their credentials and fill out the registration form by entering their details, educational details, NEET 2024 result, and other details.

Step 6: The next step is to upload all the required documents, such as a scanned copy of the photo and signature.

Step 7: The last step is to pay the registration fee and take a screenshot of the confirmation page.

• NEET UG 2025 Admit Card and Scorecard 

• Class 10 and 12 marksheets & certificates

• Valid government-issued photo ID 

• Passport-size photographs, the same as those that were uploaded online
