GATE 2027 Registration Last Date Extended: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras has extended the last date for the GATE 2027 Registration. Candidates can now register for this national-level entrance exam till 5th October 2026 without late fees. GATE 2027 registration is being conducted through the GATE Online Application Processing System (GOAPS). Aspirants can access the application form on https://gate2027.iitm.ac.in/. Interested students must complete the online registration before the last date to avoid any late fee charges.

Indian candidates must use DigiLocker for registration and they can apply either for one paper or two papers from the available combinations. According to the official schedule, the application correction window will be open from October 14 to October 21. IIT Madras has stated that Indian candidates must complete GATE registration through a verified DigiLocker account. Candidates who are planning to register for the GATE 2027 entrance exam can check the eligibility criteria below.

• Candidates who are in the 3rd year of their Bachelor’s degree, or have completed a government-approved degree in Engineering, Technology, Architecture, Science, Commerce, Arts or Humanities, can appear for GATE 2027.
