NEET PG Counselling 2026 Round 1 Registration to Begin Today; Check Schedule, Steps to Register, & Required Documents

NEET PG Counselling 2026 Round 1: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will start registration for the NEET PG Counselling Round 1. Candidates who have qualified for NEET PG can participate in the counselling process for admission to postgraduate medical courses. Students are advised to register themselves before the last date, which is 21st October 2026 and pay the registration fee.

Candidates can fill and lock their choices from October 13 to October 22. The MCC will announce the Round 1 seat allotment result on October 24, followed by reporting at the allotted institutes from October 26 to November 2. MCC conducts counselling for 50% of All India Quota (AIQ) seats, as well as seats in central universities, deemed universities, and ESIC institutes. Students who have qualified for the NEET PG 2026 entrance exam can complete the registration for NEET PG Counselling Round 1 from the official website. The registration process is simple and easy. To avoid any kind of last-minute mistakes, students are advised to follow the steps given below.

Step 1: Visit the official website of MCC, which is https://mcc.nic.in/. 

Step 2: Now open the NEET PG 2026 Section on the homepage. 

Step 3: Click on the counselling round 1 registration and enter all the required details.

Step 4: Upload all the documents in the required format.

Step 5: Pay the application fee and review the application form.

Step 6: Submit the application form and save the confirmation page for future reference.

After completing the registration, students can fill and lock their choices within the given timeframe.
