The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test, better known as CET Cell, has officially made available the MHT CET 2025 CAP Round 1 seat allotment result. This is an important update for students who had applied for admission to engineering and technology courses under the Centralised Admission Process (CAP). The result is now live on the official website, fe2025.mahacet.org.
CAP Round 1 is the initial round of seat allocation for students who have appeared in the MHT CET 2025 test. Depending upon your rank in the exam, the preferences of your colleges, and vacant seats, the CET Cell has allocated colleges to the eligible candidates.
How to Check Your Seat Allotment
Follow these easy steps to check and download your seat allotment result:
Click on the link that says “CAP Round 1 Seat Allotment”
Enter your application number and password or date of birth
Your seat allotment result will appear in PDF format
Download and save it for future use

What to Do After Getting a Seat
If the candidate is satisfied with the seat they got, then accept it online through your login.
If the seat is your first preference, it will be auto-freezed. You cannot participate in further rounds.
Visit the allotted college between August 1 and 3, 2025 to confirm your admission.
Carry all required documents and pay the admission fee.

Allotment letter
Identity proof (Aadhaar, PAN, etc.)
Class 10 and 12 mark sheets
Caste certificate (if applicable)
Domicile certificate
Passport-size photographs
Make sure all documents are original and in proper format.
What If You Want a Better College?
If you didn’t get your top choice, you can choose the “Not Freeze” option. This means you accept the current seat but want to try for a better one in the next round. You must still pay the seat acceptance fee.
Students are advised to check the official website regularly for updates and follow all instructions carefully to avoid losing their seats. If you miss the reporting deadline, your seat may be cancelled.
