The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test (MHT CET) Cell has released the tentative calendar of entrance exams, which will be conducted during the 2026 admission cycle. The schedule covers exams for higher education, technical and medical courses, as well as the fine arts. In 2026, the MHT CET for engineering and pharmacy will be held twice, just like the national JEE Main, so students will be allowed two attempts to score better and get admissions.
The first MHT CET exam for the PCM (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics) group is expected to be held from April 11 to 19, 2026, and for the PCB (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) group from April 21 to 26, 2026. A second MHT CET exam is scheduled for May and the PCB group exam will be on May 10-11 while the PCM group exam will be from May 14 to 17. The MBA/MMS CET exam will also be conducted twice wherein the first round will take place from April 6 to 8 and the second round will be in May.
Besides these, the timetable lists the tests also for subjects like M.Ed., B.Ed., MCA, LLB, Fine Arts, and Nursing. The schedule helps students in planning their studies and they also get more than one opportunity to perform well in important entrance tests.
The CET Cell, Maharashtra, has put out a second provisional timetable for the extra test sessions in 2026. The 2nd MAH MBA/MMS CET is scheduled for May 9. The second MHT CET for the PCB group will be held on May 10 and 11, and the second MHT CET for the PCM group will be held from May 14 to 17. Thus, students get another opportunity to raise their scores and have more chances of getting a seat.
