Mumbai: The State Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell, Maharashtra, has commenced the registration process for the Maharashtra Applied Arts and Crafts Common Entrance Test (MAH AAC CET) 2026. The entrance examination is conducted for admission to the Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) programme in the state.
Eligible candidates can apply online through the official website — cetcell.mahacet.org. As per the official schedule, the last date to submit the application form is March 3, 2026, while the offline entrance exam will be held on April 10, 2026.

MAH AAC CET 2026: Eligibility Criteria
To apply for MAH AAC CET 2026, candidates must meet the following requirements:
Must have passed Class 12 or an equivalent examination
English must be a subject at the qualifying level
Minimum marks required:
45% aggregate for General category candidates
40% aggregate for Reserved and PwD candidates from Maharashtra
MAH AAC CET 2026: Exam Pattern
The MAH AAC CET 2026 will assess candidates’ artistic skills as well as general awareness. The exam will be conducted for a total of 190 marks.

APAAR ID Mandatory for Registration
As per the official notice, candidates must have an APAAR ID to complete the registration process.
“Candidates without an APAAR ID need to create one through DigiLocker. The APAAR ID is necessary to complete the MH CET registration,” the CET Cell stated.
Additionally, applicants are advised to update Aadhaar-linked details before registering, including:
Name and date of birth (as per Class 10 certificate)
