The Round 6 seat allotment results for the JoSAA counseling 2025 have been released by the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA). Candidates who have applied for the Round 6 counseling can check the seat allotment results from the official website. If the candidate wants to check their seat allotment results, candidates will need to log in using their application number and password.
It is also an opportunity for candidates to secure admission into prestigious institutes like the IITs, NITs, IIITs, and GFTIs. Candidates who have been allotted seats must complete the process, such as seat acceptance, fee payment, and document upload, by 20th July 2025.
Steps To Check JoSAA 2025 Seat Allotment Result
Since the results are declared online, candidates can follow the following steps to check if they have been allotted seats in Round 6:
Step 1: Candidates must visit the official website of JoSAA: https://josaa.nic.in/
Step 2: Once the homepage appears, candidates can click on the JoSAA 2025 seat allotment link.
Step 3: Once the candidate clicks on the link, it opens in a new window, and they must enter their login details to see the results.
Step 4: Candidates must check the results and download the page.
Step 5: Candidates should also keep an extra printout of their results, as it is helpful during the admission process.
What happens after seat allotment?
After the results of the Round 6 seat allotment come out, candidates must report to the colleges, where they have been allotted seats, for document verification. Or they can make the fee payment and upload documents online from 16th July to 20th July 2025. Additionally, the last date for fee payment is 20th July 2025, and the last date for the resolution of fee payment is 20th July 2025.
For those candidates who have been allocated NIT+seats, a withdrawal window will remain open from 16 July to 21 July, and the final date to respond to the candidate’s withdrawal-related queries is 22nd July 2025. Along with this, the partial admission fee (PAF) must be paid between the 23rd and 27th July, and all the payment-related issues will be resolved by 28th July 2025. After the conclusion of the JoSAA counseling, the Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB) will conduct a special round of CSAB 2025 counseling to fill the remaining vacant BTech seats. For this, the vacancy list and registration link will go live on 30th July 2025.
