JMI Launches New Graduate Programmes in German and Japanese Studies, Advanced Diploma in Child Guidance & Counselling

Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) has launched three new graduate programmes for the academic session 2025-26. These programmes are German Studies, Japanese Studies, and the Advanced Diploma in Child Guidance & Counselling. Interested candidates can apply for the four-year undergraduate program in German Studies, the four-year undergraduate program in Japanese Studies, and a one-year Advanced Diploma in Child Guidance & Counseling.
The online application for the above-mentioned UP programs has started from August 22, 2025, and the last day is September 6, 2025. Candidates can fill out the online application form before the end date. The admission test date for the three newly launched UG courses is set on September 14, 2025. Admission for these programs will be based on the merit score of the entrance test conducted by the JMI.
JMI Course Details
As per the statement of Jamia Milia Islamia, the courses B.A. Honours in German Studies and the B.A. Honours in Japanese Studies is are four-year program aligned with the National Education Policy 2020. Whereas the Advanced Diploma in Child Guidance & Counseling is a one-year course accredited by the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI).
The annual fee for both the German and Japanese Studies programs is INR 20,000, whereas the annual fee for the Advanced Diploma in Child Guidance & Counseling is INR 85,000.
