The JEECUP exam dates for 2026 have been changed. The exam, also known as UPJEE Polytechnic, will now be held from 2 June to 9 June 2026. Before this update, the exam was scheduled from 15 May to 22 May 2026. The dates were changed because many students requested more time, and the council also needed extra time to complete the application process.
Students can download their admit cards from 25 May 2026 on the official website JEECUP is an important exam for students who want to join diploma and polytechnic courses in Uttar Pradesh.

Why Were the JEECUP 2026 Dates Revised?
The JEECUP 2026 important dates have been revised to help students and make the admission process easier.
The last date to fill the application form was 30 April 2026, but it was extended to 10 May 2026. This was done so that more students can apply without any problem. The last date to pay the fee was also been extended to 12 May 2026.
After the application process is done, students can download their admit cards from 25 May 2026. The exam will be held from 2 June to 9 June 2026, at different exam centres across Uttar Pradesh. JEECUP 2026 Exam Pattern
The JEECUP 2026 exam will take place in the Computer Based Test mode, which will have 100 Multiple Choice Questions of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Duration of the exam is two and half hours and will be held in English as well as in Hindi languages. For each right question, four marks will be allotted, while one mark will be deducted for the incorrect answer. No marks will be deducted for unattempted questions. Exam Guidelines and Requirements
All the candidates appearing in the JEECUP 2026 are requested to follow the instructions of the Examination properly. They should bring a printout of their admit card and a valid photo ID card issued by the government like an Aadhaar card, PAN card or any valid ID card accepted by the government. A recent passport photo is to be submitted for verification purposes. Candidates are also reminded to bring a pen for rough work if necessary. These documents may be required for admission to the examination centre.
Counselling Process After Result
After the declaration of JEECUP 2026 results, candidates who qualify will need to participate in the online counselling process. This process includes registration, seat allotment, document verification and final fee payment to confirm admission. The counselling process is usually conducted in multiple rounds depending on seat availability. It is expected to begin in June or July 2026. Candidates must complete each step carefully to secure admission into their preferred polytechnic or diploma institute.
