The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB) has extended the application deadline for the Gujarat Common Entrance Test (GUJCET) 2026. Candidates who wish to apply for Engineering and Diploma courses in Gujarat can register for the GUJCET 2026 exam till January 6, 2026. Candidates can fill out the online application form on the official website
Earlier, the last date to apply for the GUJCET exam was 30th December 2025. However, the exam will be held on 29th March, 2026, and only those students will be considered eligible for the exam whose application form meets the board’s criteria. The application fee for this exam is INR 350, which is payable online via SBI ePay using credit, debit, or net banking.

What is GUJCET 2026 & Who can Apply?
The Gujarat Common Entrance Test (GUJCET) is the annual state-level entrance exam conducted by the Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board. It is conducted for students who want to get admission in diploma and undergraduate courses in the government and private colleges of Gujarat. Students must fulfill the eligibility criteria given below so that they can appear for the exam:
Candidates must be citizens of India or have a domicile in Gujarat.
Students should have passed, or they should be appearing for the Class 12th exam, while applying for this exam.
Candidates applying for the Engineering programs should have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as main subjects.
For Pharmacy courses, students should have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics or PCB as main subjects.
Candidates who have passed class 12th should have achieved a minimum score of 45% marks (40% for the reserved category).
