GATE 2026 Result Date: On March 19, 2026, IIT Guwahti will Release the GATE Results, On Official Website

Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Guwahati has released the result date of the GATE 2026 on its official website. The GATE 2026 result will be declared on March 19, 2026. According to the GATE notification, the registration process will begin from August 25, 2025, and it will continue until September 25, 2025 (without a late fee) and October 6, 2025 (with a late fee).

The GATE authority Guwahati has chosen to hold the GATE exam on four different dates, i.e., Feb 07, 08, 14, and 15, 2026. Candidates appearing for the GATE 2026 examination in these dates can see their results on its official website from March 19 onwards.

GATE 2026 Exam Notification

IIT GATE has declared the GATE notification for 2026 along with all its crucial dates. As per the notification of GATE, registration will begin from August 25. The closing date of its registration is September 25. Candidates can see GATE exam notification for further information, such as the eligibility criteria, exam date, etc. GATE exam is held for admission in postgraduate course in IITs, IISc, and other colleges/universities in the nation. GATE 2026 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must make sure that they have completed all the eligibility criteria before applying for the GATE application. Candidates who are studying in the final year (3rd year) degree program from a recognized university are eligible to apply.

• Nationality: Candidates should be Indians, or NRI candidates satisfying the IIT Guwahati eligibility criteria can also apply.

• Education: Students who have finished a bachelor's degree or the last year of any undergraduate degree are also eligible to apply.

• Age limit: There is no age limit for the GATE 2026 entrance test.
