The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) has released the JoSAA 2026 round 4 seat allotment result on July 10 (today). Candidates who are willing to take admission in the reputed IITs, NITs, IIITs & GFTIs and are not satisfied with the allotted courses as well as colleges in previous rounds of counselling need to complete the registration process within the prescribed schedule. The seat allotment process includes JoSAA 2026 counselling registration and choice filling, seat allotment, seat acceptance, document verification, and fee payment.
Candidates can fill in their choices from the official website of the JoSAA. Apart from this, now the opening and closing ranks for admission in IITs, NITs, IIITs, and GFTIs will be out. The seat allotment in the IITs will be done on the basis of JEE Advanced ranks, while other participating institutes use JEE Main ranks. Candidates must pay the seat acceptance fees before the last date of July 13 till 5 PM, while the withdrawal/exit window for IITs and IISc will remain open from July 11 to July 14.
